Andres Montenegro was born in Lima, Peru and moved to Florida in 2004. He began working with clay at Seminole State College and graduated with a BFA in Ceramics from the University of Central Florida in 2016.

In May 2019 Andres received his MFA from Bowling Green State University, specializing in three dimensional studies in ceramics, and sculpture. He currently resides in Daytona Beach, Florida.
